2010 November 20 - Baskett Slough

Total 25 species of birds

Dan also saw a Yellow-shafted Flicker. The Red-shafted and the Yellow-shafted Flickers are now known as Northern Flickers.

It was a great field trip and we lucked out on the weather. Thank you to Dan, Patty, and Scott and also thank you all the drivers.

Some of the highlights were seeing the Cooper’s Hawk and observing several Kestrels hovering. Please feel free to add any species of birds that I missed.
